Job summary

Oscar Health seeks an Associate, Process Optimization in New York City to lead operational improvements and optimize workflows within the Member Provider Service Optimization team.

The role partners with business and technical stakeholders to implement scalable processes, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive technology modernization while reporting to the Product Implementation Manager. Hybrid work requires 3 in-office days weekly.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in health insurance or related field.
• 2+ years end-to-end project management experience.
• 2+ years designing and improving workflows.
• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years commensurate experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
• 2+ years using data software (Excel/SQL/Python).
• 1+ year using AI tools for process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end operational improvements and workflow optimization projects.
• Develop training materials and clear communications for strategic implementations.
• Partner with owners to implement scalable procedural countermeasures.
• Mentor team members and promote growth.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
