Job summary

Oscar Health is hiring an Associate, Process Optimization to join our Eligibility and Billing team. This role leads the design, optimization, and implementation of processes and improvements to operations, collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to solve complex problems and drive measurable performance.

You will collect requirements, manage project plans, document key decisions, and communicate risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years commensurate experience.
• 3+ years of work experience in operations, health insurance, data analysis, engineering and/or consulting.
• 2+ years of experience using data software such as Excel, SQL, Python or other data analytics tools.
• 2+ years of experience with end to end project management.
• 2+ years of experience in designing and improving workflows and standing up operating and technical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Leads end-to-end management of cross-functional implementations/projects with plans and stakeholder engagement.
• Evaluates departmental performance by creating and interpreting data/metrics and assisting in development of metrics/mitigation strategies.
• Collaborates with internal/external stakeholders to formulate proactive implementation, communications, and risk mitigation plans.
• Mentors team members and supports professional development.
• Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
