Job summary

Dow Inc. seeks Process Operators in Deer Park, Texas for a safety‑driven role operating basic control systems and equipment. You will monitor process variables, troubleshoot issues, and support maintenance while upholding rigorous environmental safeguards.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with related experience or education, plus the ability to obtain forklift certification and work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. No visa sponsorship is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with acceptable additional education or military technical experience.
• May join Houston Hub Emergency Response Team for 2 years.
• Valid US Driver's License and forklift certification upon hire.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends/holidays.
• No visa sponsorship available for this US-based position.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic control systems and monitor levels, temperatures, pressures and flow rates.
• Operate valves, lift hoses and validate equipment isolation when needed.
• Follow procedures to ensure safe and efficient operation of duties.
• Monitor and adjust control systems and manually operated equipment.
• Troubleshoot process, product quality, safety and environmental issues.
• Support maintenance and project work to ensure reliability.
• Act as a resource for other technicians and prioritize tasks.
• Complete all duties with safety and environmental stewardship.

Education

Associate degree or higher

Pursuing Associate's degree in Process Technology

Military service in a technical specialty (3+ years)

Five+ years manufacturing experience as a Production Technician/Operator
