Job summary

Primient is seeking a Chemical Operator for rotating D shifts at our Dayton, Kentucky plant. You will help ensure safe operation of a highly automated process, perform routine tasks, and work with a team to solve daily production challenges while following strict safety and quality standards.

Starting pay is $27.84 per hour with overtime and a pay-for-skill system; the role includes comprehensive benefits, development opportunities, and a 365/24/7 operating schedule with weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with processing equipment.
• Ability to operate safely in a highly automated plant.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Windows Office.
• Follow SOPs and PM instruction sets.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and work in varied temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of a highly automated process.
• Follow SOPs and PM task instruction sets.
• Communicate with production before starting and after job completion.
• Troubleshoot lab equipment and process equipment as needed.
• Maintain detailed logs of shifts and events.
• Assist I&E technicians and mechanics as needed.
