Job summary

AdvanSix operates a rotating 12-hour shift to run field and control room chemical unit operations, ensuring safe and efficient production of process systems and equipment. The role focuses on field equipment, sampling, and preparing for maintenance under tight safety standards.

The position requires handling highly hazardous chemicals, strong teamwork, and the ability to wear full PPE. Prior experience in manufacturing or chemical plants is preferred; Richmond, VA area location applies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, and/or chemical plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to standard work and SOPs to ensure safety, quality and production goals.
• Read and interpret readings on equipment and take corrective actions to maintain standard operation.
• Troubleshoot process issues and take corrective actions for a safe operating area.
• Handle highly hazardous chemicals and wear full PPE.
• Communicate process upsets and equipment issues to appropriate teams.
