Darling Ingredients Inc. is seeking a Process Operator to run computer-controlled process equipment, cookers, and related machinery, while evaluating process problems and performing product quality testing.

You will oversee rendering from raw material bin to finished goods storage, maintain cooker conditions, monitor evaporation, and operate pollution control and boiler systems with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Oversees rendering process from raw material bin to finished goods storage.
• Maintain steady flow of material to cooker.
• Maintain cooker temperature, rate, and steam at peak operating levels.
• Monitor evaporation rate and rate per hour according to requirements.
• Operate pollution control system including air/odor control system and wastewater control.
• Responsible for boiler start up and operation.
• Perform periodic preventative maintenance on all equipment in process.
• Maintain safety as top priority and follow company safety rules.
