Qualifications

• Must have basic mechanical aptitude and be able to troubleshoot equipment.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural settings is preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow safety rules.
• Willingness to work nights and/or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversees rendering process from raw material bin to finished goods storage.
• Maintain steady flow of material to cooker and ensure temperature, rate, and steam are at peak levels.
• Monitor evaporation rate and control flow to presses and storage.
• Operate pollution control systems and ensure boiler startup/operation.
• Perform preventative maintenance and report issues to the manager.
• Maintain a clean work area and uphold safety as a top priority.
