Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. in Durham, NC is seeking an Associate Technician to support manufacturing operations on the day shift. The role focuses on equipment setup, routine maintenance, document control, and adherence to GMP, GDP, and safety standards.

You will participate in Kaizen events, assist with batch records, and help ensure efficient, compliant production tied to a global pharmaceutical network. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willing to pass aseptic gowning qualifications.
• Computer literacy required.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and wear PPE.
• TB titer and Chest X-ray required.

Responsibilities

• Support operations to meet production targets.
• Clean, set up, operate and troubleshoot equipment and facilities.
• Maintain records and batch records per GMP standards; review SOPs.
• Participate in Kaizen events and safety/environmental initiatives.
