Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. in the United States is seeking a Manufacturing Operations professional to support process qualification and commercial production. You will author and review Batch Records, SOPs, and training documents while addressing deviations with cross-functional teams.

The role requires aseptic gowning qualifications, strong communication, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. You will participate in Kaizen events and ensure strict recordkeeping and housekeeping to sustain high product quality.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills.
• Must be able to pass aseptic gowning qualifications with proper attire.
• Computer literacy including spreadsheets and email.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Support operations as expert through process performance qualification into commercial manufacturing.
• Author, review, and edit operations and technical documentation (Batch Records, SOPs, Job Aides, training, and engineering documents).
• Identify and address compliance, environmental, safety, and process deviations with appropriate personnel.
• Participate in HAZOPS, waste walkthroughs, 5S, kaizen events, or similar initiatives.
• Operate and troubleshoot equipment to meet production targets; maintain inventories and housekeeping.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of equipment and processes and drive continuous improvement.
