Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated in Indianapolis, ON SITE, seeks a Process Lead to drive production planning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across safety, quality, and reliability. You will coordinate daily maintenance, lead improvement teams, and ensure ISO/GMP adherence with a direct-report team.

The role requires 3–5 years of engineering experience in process environments and knowledge of process automation or PLC operations, with strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a process-related engineering discipline (Chemical or Mechanical) or equivalent in experience and education.
• 3-5 years’ experience as an Engineer involved with process troubleshooting, project development, and implementation.
• Experience involving process automation, preferably with formal training or basic knowledge of computer/PLC operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support regarding facility safety initiatives when designing or redesigning work processes or equipment.
• Support safety and quality initiatives, including investigations.
• Ensure compliance with ISO and GMP requirements and plant rules.
• Coordinate/lead maintenance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
