Job summary

You’ll serve as the primary site contact during non-traditional hours, ensuring safety, productivity, and engagement while supporting continuous improvement.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in chemical engineering, 3+ years in manufacturing with leadership experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering required.
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience, including team leadership or coordinating operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to lead meetings and share updates.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary plant contact during off-shift, weekend, and holiday operations.
• Act as Incident Commander during safety emergencies and coordinate response activities.
• Provide first responder support within training requirements.
• Coordinate emergency maintenance to minimize disruptions and ensure safe resolution of issues.
• Monitor operations and identify performance gaps or trends needing intervention.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and EHS to resolve issues and meet goals.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, productivity, reliability, quality and cost.
• Support training, continuous improvement, and capital projects.
• Promote employee engagement and leadership visibility on the production floor.
• Foster cross-shift communication and collaboration across teams.
• Collaborate with site leadership on growth and operational objectives.
