Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated is offering a summer internship in Process Innovation & Development in Bridgewater, NJ. You will support a defined research project, evaluate unit operations, optimize process parameters, and scale up new products in a pilot plant.

You will run lab and pilot trials, analyze data, and prepare pilot quantities for internal and customer evaluations, while collaborating with the R&D team and ensuring safe lab practices.

Qualifications

• Undergrad student pursuing Chemical Engineering.
• Lab and/or pilot plant experience preferred.
• Strong communication, written and verbal, with ability to present data.

Responsibilities

• Operate laboratory equipment safely and with minimal supervision.
• Assist in lab and pilot plant experiments and data analysis.
• Support definition of scale-up conditions and pilot quantities.
• Prepare data reports and communicate results to the team.
• Present findings to management with recommendations for future projects.
