Ingredion Incorporated in Bridgewater, NJ invites an enthusiastic Starch Chemistry Intern to join the R&D team for summer 2027. You will support a defined research project on starch modification and characterization, performing lab and pilot plant experiments and data analysis.

This role offers hands-on experience, ELN documentation, and opportunities to present findings. You must be an undergraduate in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with lab/pilot plant exposure and strong communication

Qualifications

• Undergrad student in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with lab or pilot plant exposure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform lab and pilot plant experiments and analyze results.
• Summarize outcomes in reports and maintain ELN records.
• Present findings to project teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure GMP and safe working practices.
