Job summary

AdventHealth Daytona Beach seeks a data analytics and process improvement professional to advocate patient safety and drive performance improvements organization-wide. You will partner with leadership to define scope, collect data, and implement sustained interventions using DMAIC and Six Sigma methodologies.

Ideal candidates possess strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with healthcare experience, data visualization, and cross-functional collaboration at the executive

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in data analytics/process improvement or healthcare setting
• Experience in data collection, analysis, quality assurance, or computer programming
• RN license and related certifications are preferred

Responsibilities

• Advocates for patient safety and protects patients and providers by promoting safe practices and policies.
• Escalates patient safety concerns to appropriate leadership with honesty and integrity.
• Acts as an in-house consultant for data and information needs to guide performance improvement.

Job Description:

• Facilitation of various PI methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, PDSA, etc.) [Preferred]
• Solid analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills [Required]
• Ability to conduct process mapping, root cause analysis, statistical controls [Required]
• Has knowledge of quality & process improvement methodologies such as lean six sigma [Required]
• Ability to succinctly translate high-level concepts into actionable items [Required]
