Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in nursing required.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
  • 1+ charge nurse or leadership experience preferred.
  • 1+ nursing experience in the acute care setting preferred.
  • RN licensure and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform venous access procedures within RN scope, ensuring patient safety.
  • Administer and monitor infusion therapy, adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Assess patients to determine venous access methods and address complications.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for venous access patients.
  • Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy.
  • Monitor and mentor nursing staff; conduct appraisals and improvement plans.
  • Foster growth by organizing training and mentoring staff.
  • Resolve conflicts promptly to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and efficiency.
  • Communicate clearly with patients, families, and health care team.
  • Mentor and precept new staff with hands-on training and feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and hospital policies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

$15K Sign on Bonus

  • Perform venous access procedures within the scope of RN licensure, ensuring proper technique and patient safety.
  • Administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments, adjusting care plans based on patient responses and needs.
  • Assess patients' conditions to determine appropriate venous access methods and address any complications.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients requiring venous access and infusion therapy.
  • Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy to ensure understanding and compliance.
