Writes correspondence on behalf of Director and/or Managers as necessary. Assists Medical Director, Director, and Managers with special projects, using judgment for the level of discretion and confidentiality needed. If working with the Medical Staff, maintains a thorough knowledge of the contents of the Bylaws for the Medical Staff Office. Plans for and ensures the orderly occurrence of special events, preparing detailed itineraries for events such as dinner meetings, physician meetings, presentations, retreats, and receptions. Ensures salaried/exempt employees submit their time in a timely manner, processes timekeeping record changes, and maintains department call and staff schedules. Coordinates applicants for interviews, processes personnel forms, and maintains department employee files, licenses, and competencies. Other duties as assigned. Accurately maintains the calendar for assigned leadership, handling multiple calendars to ensure proper scheduling of meetings. Handles all logistics for meetings, including scheduling, distributing agendas, and taking minutes. Screens incoming visitors and telephone calls, independently handling routine calls and directing others to the appropriate areas or departments as necessary. Manages incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring appropriate follow-up, including drafting response correspondence and advising Director and/or Managers of important or urgent mail.
Bachelor's [Preferred]

3+ years administrative assistant experience [Required]
Acute Care-Hospital work experience [Preferred]
