Qualifications

  • Approximately 10+ years of professional experience.
  • Extensive experience in the data domain.
  • Strong understanding of data organizations, data processes, and Data Engineering environments.
  • Ability to analyze current operational environments and team workflows.
  • Capable of translating technical delivery realities into effective processes, controls, decision rights, and operating rhythms.
  • Proven experience in identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Experience establishing governance frameworks.
  • Ability to drive change management initiatives.
  • Experience transitioning process ownership to operational teams.

Position Summary

Seeking a senior Process Improvement Specialist to support a data engineering organization. This individual will evaluate current workflows, identify opportunities for enhancement, design and implement new processes, establish governance where necessary, lead change management initiatives, and facilitate the transition of ongoing process ownership to appropriate teams. The organization is evolving from a centralized data team model that fulfills business requests to a platform-support model that enables other teams to achieve their goals with engineering support.
