Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services in Saint Petersburg, FL, seeks a Process Improvement Engineer to drive new technology adoption, process improvements, validation, and lifecycle management across select process areas. You will collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to advance the business and support capital investments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering, 5+ years in manufacturing, PM experience, and Six Sigma Green Belt.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related science field.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar manufacturing role; PM experience preferred.
• Experience in polymer chemistry, rubber technology, or molding preferred.
• Experience with Compression or Injection Molding is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate improvements of quality, service, HSE and cost within standards.
• Prepare and obtain approval for project time schedules and budgets.
• Support automation and introduction of new technologies with cross-functional teams.
• Interface with R&D/QA/Sales and shop-floor production for new products.
• Apply Six Sigma tools to minimize process variation and improve quality.
