Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services is seeking a Process Engineer to join the Process Excellence team to deliver and implement solutions for safe, efficient operation and improvement of the facility, equipment, and processes. The role supports design, development, and validation for existing/new equipment and lean initiatives.

The candidate will use Lean Sigma and root cause analysis tools, collaborate with operators and engineers, and drive CAPAs, data analysis, and continuous improvements to reduce

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years in a cGMP/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience reading drawings/specifications and documenting changes.
• Knowledge of FDA/cGMP, ISO9000 and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support extrusion, molding, trimming, and clean room processes.
• Interact with cross-functional teams to develop controls and process improvements.
• Plan and execute projects within scope and budget.
• Document changes via engineering studies and change controls.
• Lead CAPAs and continuous process improvement activities.
