Job summary

Qualified Staffing is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer / Continuous Improvement Engineer in the United States (Macon, GA). The role focuses on driving process improvements, reducing waste, and enhancing product quality within a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on manufacturing experience and a strong background in Lean, continuous improvement, Kaizen, RCA, value stream mapping, and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Hands-on manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong background in Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and Kaizen.
• Experience with root cause analysis, value stream mapping, and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with production team members to understand challenges and implement practical solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, quality, and process capability.
• Reduce waste related to inventory, downtime, scrap, and material utilization.
• Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other CI tools to improve processes.
• Conduct process and value stream mapping, RCA, and develop countermeasures.
• Lead CI projects and develop standardized processes and best practices.
• Support pilot programs, trials, and new product development activities.
• Evaluate processes and recommend equipment/workflow/layout improvements.
• Collaborate across departments to sustain improvements and monitor KPIs.
