Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience in a Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer, Lean Manufacturing Engineer, Value Stream Engineer, Productivity Engineer, or similar position.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with Kaizen, root cause analysis, process mapping, value stream mapping, standard work, and problem solving.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, productivity, quality, scrap reduction, downtime, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with production team members to understand manufacturing challenges and develop practical solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency, productivity, quality, and process capability.
• Reduce waste related to inventory, downtime, scrap, material utilization, and time management.
• Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement tools to improve manufacturing processes.
• Conduct process mapping, value stream mapping, value stream analysis, and root cause analysis.
• Identify production and equipment bottlenecks and develop effective countermeasures.
• Lead and support continuous improvement projects throughout manufacturing operations.
• Develop and implement standardized processes and best practices.
• Support pilot programs, process trials, prototype production runs, and new product development activities.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes and recommend improvements to equipment, workflow, layout, and production methods.
• Work across departments to implement sustainable process improvements.
• Monitor KPIs and manufacturing performance to identify improvement opportunities.
• Promote a culture focused on safety, quality, productivity, waste reduction, and continuous improvement.

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer / Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive process improvement and operational excellence within a manufacturing environment. This position will work closely with production, engineering, quality, safety, and supply chain teams to improve manufacturing processes, reduce waste, increase productivity, improve equipment and process capability, and enhance product quality.

Qualifications

• Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with Kaizen, root cause analysis, process mapping, value stream mapping, standard work, and problem solving.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, productivity, quality, scrap reduction, downtime, and process improvement.
• Ability to work directly with production employees, supervisors, engineering, quality, safety, and other departments.
• Experience supporting new product development, prototypes, production trials, or manufacturing launches is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, project management, and problem solving skills.
• Engineering education, technical education, or equivalent manufacturing experience will be considered.
