Job summary

FMC Corporation in Philadelphia seeks an NA Improvement Engineer to strengthen our Formulation & Packaging network with leadership in continuous improvement, safety, and new product introductions. You will drive process improvements, support capital projects, and ensure safe, compliant operations across sites.

The role emphasizes collaboration with R&D and manufacturing, on-site testing, and process safety management while advancing a culture of safety and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years' experience in a chemical or related environment with process or scale-up experience.
• Knowledge of equipment design, scale-up procedures, troubleshooting and project management skills.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and Process Safety Management.
• Demonstrated commitment to Personal Safety & Environmental issues.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate technical and non-technical information with global internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead process and product Change Management for identified manufacturing processes.
• Assessment of Manufacturing site capabilities for the ability to manufacture potential new or re-sited products.
• Work cooperatively with the R&D and Manufacturing organization to design safe, efficient commercial manufacturing processes for new products.
• Execute Design and develop product launch test protocols and reports with R&D.
• On-site support of the commissioning of production units or new product introductions during trial production, optimization and validation, as needed.
• Quality Assurance of formulated products.
