Job summary

FMC Corporation in Philadelphia seeks an NA Improvement Engineer to drive continuous improvement across formulation and packaging networks, ensuring safe, sustainable, and reliable processes.

You will lead change management, collaborate with R&D and manufacturing, develop test protocols, support capital projects, and promote a strong safety culture while meeting regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years’ experience in a chemical or related environment with process or scale-up experience.
• Knowledge of equipment design, scale-up procedures, troubleshooting and project management skills.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and Process Safety Management.
• Lean six sigma certification a plus.
• Demonstrated commitment to personal safety & environmental issues.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead process and product Management of Change for identified manufacturing processes.
• Assessment of Manufacturing site capabilities for the ability to manufacture potential new or re-sited products.
• Collaborate with R&D and Manufacturing to design safe, efficient commercial manufacturing processes for new products.
• Execute design and develop product launch test protocols and reports with R&D.
• On-site support of commissioning of production units or new product introductions during trial production, optimization and validation.
• Help establish standard production rates & efficiencies for performance monitoring.
• Quality Assurance of formulated products.
• Process Technology, Process Improvement and Capital Project Development; support Process safety Management.
