Job summary

FMC Corporation, based in Philadelphia, seeks a NA Improvement Engineer to drive continuous improvement, new product introduction, quality management, and capital projects within the Formulation & Packaging network.

You will lead safety-focused process improvements, collaborate with R&D and manufacturing, and ensure compliant, reliable operations while advancing sustainability and performance.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering or related field required.
• 5-7 years’ experience in a chemical environment with process or scale-up.
• Knowledge of equipment design, scale-up procedures, troubleshooting and project management.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and Process Safety Management.
• Lean six sigma certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead process and product Management of Change for identified manufacturing processes.
• Assess Manufacturing site capabilities for potential new or re-sited products.
• Collaborate with R&D and Manufacturing to design safe, efficient processes for new products.
• Develop and execute test protocols for product launches with R&D.
• Support capital projects and ensure compliance with safety programs.
