Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Coordinator of Operational Excellence to lead projects across a processing plant and live operations, partnering with safety, HR, food safety, quality assurance, engineering and management to drive measurable improvements.

The role emphasizes safety as a condition, uses 6S, SPC, Kaizen, labor standards, and continuous improvement tools; requires 2–5 years manufacturing experience (poultry preferred) and willingness to relocate with travel.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years manufacturing experience (poultry preferred).
• Undergraduate degree in engineering, science, or business.
• Willingness to relocate and travel to other Pilgrim’s locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct Operational Excellence projects across a processing plant and live operations.
• Identify KPI gaps and drive continuous improvement using Lean methods.
• Develop and manage process improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Co-own the Management Pillar implementation and train personnel.
• Utilize 6S, SOPs, SPC, RCA, Kaizen, labor management, and related tools.
