Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a PEX Sr. Associate on-site in Mesa, AZ to drive transformation initiatives and streamline operations using Lean/Six Sigma.

You will lead process improvements, prepare BRDs and business cases, and collaborate with delivery teams. The role requires Green Belt certification and 4–6 years of relevant experience; local candidates preferred.

• Report issues related to problems/opportunities to transformation leaders
• Play a pivotal role in executing transformation governance model to build the continuous improvement culture

Job description

Cognizant is a large IT Consulting Firm that leverages modern technologies to transform a variety of business operations. We recently launched 2 Contact Centers in Mesa, AZ and Plano, TX, and we are seeking a PEX Sr. Associate to help streamline and enhance our operation. Please not that this role is fully onsite in Mesa, AZ. Only local candidates will be considered.

Role Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement culture through training, co-ordination and implementation of principles of Lean/Six Sigma in day-to-day operations in KPO/BPO
• Understands and articulates problems/issues in a timely and accurate manner from the delivery/operations teams
• Prepare business cases, project charters, Automation Assessments (RPA), Business Requirement Documents, (BRD) and use cases
• Participate in exploring solutions for problems and process bottlenecks
• Actively contributes to change implementation initiatives on the floor
• Report issues related to problems/opportunities to transformation leaders
• Play a pivotal role in executing transformation governance model to build the continuous improvement culture

Desired Skills & Experience

• Must be certified Green Belt from a reputed certifying body/organization (e.g. ASQ or equivalent) with excellent command in Lean/Six Sigma methodology
• Must have experience in a relevant domain & reputed KPO is preferred.
• Must have 4-6 years of work experience with minimum 4 years of relevant experience
• Must have excellent analytical, presentation & communication skill Should be a self-starter

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 - $100,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
