Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a PEX Manager to streamline and enhance our operations. This role is fully onsite in Mesa, AZ; local candidates only.

You will lead process assessments, drive DMAIC/Lean initiatives, and collaborate with transformation leaders to deliver continuous improvement, risk management, and client-facing presentations. Tenure: 6–8 years in a relevant domain, Black Belt certified.

Qualifications

• Black Belt certification from ASQ or equivalent.
• 6–8 years of work experience with at least 4 years in a relevant domain.
• Excellent analytical, presentation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of DMAIC, Lean, FMEA, and Kaizen.

Responsibilities

• Conduct deep-dive process assessments to identify improvements.
• Lead on-the-floor change initiatives and governance.
• Document business cases, BRDs, and use cases for initiatives.
• Propose digital solutions and IPA applicability for real-world cases.
• Identify risks and maintain a central risk register with mitigations.

Job description

Cognizant is a large IT Consulting Firm that leverages modern technologies to transform a variety of business operations. We recently launched 2 Contact Centers in Mesa, AZ and Plano, TX, and we are seeking a PEX Manager to help streamline and enhance our operation. Please not that this role is fully onsite in Mesa, AZ. Only local candidates will be considered.

Role Responsibilities

• Ensure process assessments leverage processes through deep-dive and diagnostic knowledge

• Actively contribute to change implementation initiatives on the floor
• Report issues related to problems/opportunities to transformation leaders
• Understand DMAIC & Lean methodology and the associated templates and roles and responsibilities
• Propose and elicit innovative digital solutions through discussions with team members by cascading information on Process Changes
• Application of knowledge about Intelligent process automation (IPA) and its applicability in real world use cases
• Understand and articulate problems/issues in a timely and accurate manner from the delivery/operations teams
• Prepare business cases, project charters, Business Requirement Documents, (BRD) and use cases
• Participate in exploring solutions for problems and process bottlenecks
• Play a pivotal role in executing transformation governance model to build the continuous improvement culture
• Deliver client presentations, business development and presales support for continuous improvement and innovation
• Identify potential risk in the existing process. Manage a centralized risk register for the aligned process with mitigation and control plans

Desired Skills & Experience

• Must be certified Black Belt from a reputed certifying body/organization (e.g. ASQ or equivalent) with excellent command in Lean/Six Sigma methodology
• Must have experience in a relevant domain & reputed KPO is preferred.
• Must have 6-8 years of work experience with minimum 4 years of relevant experience
• Must have excellent analytical, presentation & communication skill Should be a self-starter
• Good knowledge around cross functional Process Map, FMEA, risk register, value stream mapping (VSM) & kaizen identification

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 - $140,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
