Job summary

Amazon North America Tech Deploy (NA TD) seeks a Process Engineer to drive continuous improvement and optimize deployment processes for fulfillment-center technologies across North America. You will lead cross-functional teams, develop SOPs, analyze data, and implement governance to scale technology deployments with safety, quality, and efficiency.

The role emphasizes Value Stream Mapping, process standardization, and stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical), Operations Research, or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience in process engineering, process improvement, or operational excellence within a manufacturing, logistics, or technology deployment environment.
• Experience with value stream mapping and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
• Proficiency in data analysis and metrics development to measure process performance
• Experience working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholder teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and maintain standard work instructions, SOPs, and process documentation for technology installations and deployments
• Analyze deployment data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process improvement
• Lead Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and other Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and improve deployment cycle times
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive alignment on deployment standards and best practices
• Conduct site visits to observe installations, gather Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback, and validate process adherence
• Drive lessons learned processes and ensure corrective actions are implemented across the network
• Manage escalations related to process deviations and coordinate resolution with stakeholder teams
