Job summary

Amazon's North America Tech Deploy team is seeking a Process Engineer to drive continuous improvement, optimize deployment processes, and ensure successful installation of fulfillment center technologies across North America. You will work with cross-functional teams, lead VSM and Lean initiatives, analyze data to identify defects, and develop standard work instructions and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical), Operations Research, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in process engineering, process improvement, or operational excellence in manufacturing, logistics, or tech deployment.
• Experience with value stream mapping and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in data analysis and metrics development to measure process performance.
• Cross-functional collaboration across multiple stakeholder teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and maintain standard work instructions, SOPs, and process documentation for technology installations and deployments.
• Analyze deployment data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Lead Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and improve deployment cycle times.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive alignment on deployment standards and best practices.
• Conduct site visits to observe installations and validate process adherence.
• Drive lessons learned processes and ensure corrective actions are implemented across the network.
• Manage escalations related to process deviations and coordinate resolution with stakeholder teams.
