Job Description

Process Engineering and Quality Control Manager

Industry:Manufacturing

Location:Newport, Isle of Wight

Hours:37.5 hours per week

Days:Monday - Friday

Duration:Permanent

Duties:

Supporting manufacturing by optimising material usage and minimising production costs without compromising product quality,
Responsible for defining, documenting and implementing bast practice across the production process
Investigating root cause of product quality failures,
Ensuring adherence to health and safety and environmental regulations whilst promoting a safe and compliant working environment,
Involvement in the entire product cycle including new product introductions and change management, whilst maintaining all critical to quality characteristics.

Experience:

Must have proven managerial experience within a manufacturing environment including delivery of process improvements, root cause investigations, and an understanding of epoxy resins.
Must have Chemical, Scientific or Engineering based qualifications to a minimum of HNC level plus Green Belt Six Sigma (or equivalent),
Must have excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to make critical decisions within a pressurised environment.
