Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Process Engineering Manager to lead the documentation standard and end-to-end process lifecycle from development to production readiness at our Pueblo, CO site. The role manages a team of process engineers and ensures robust qualification, control, and documentation across energetic materials manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in process/manufacturing engineering with strong leadership, Lean/Six Sigma experience, and a proven ability to enforce

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in process/manufacturing engineering, or 15 years in lieu of a degree.
• Proven experience leading or contributing to process qualification in manufacturing.
• Ability to author, standardize, and govern technical documentation (SOPs, work instructions, process specs).
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or equivalent.
• Experience applying root cause analysis (8D, fishbone, 5-Why) to nonconformances.
• Demonstrated people leadership to develop and hold accountable a team of engineers.
• Strong ability to enforce standards and drive cross-functional compliance.
• Commitment to safety in rigorous regulatory environments (OSHA, ITAR, hazardous materials).

Responsibilities

• Own and enforce the Voyager Energetics documentation standard across SOPs, work instructions, and specs.
• Lead and develop a team of 5+ process engineers towards high performance and scalable growth.
• Mentor engineers in fundamentals, documentation standards and best practices.
• Own end-to-end process lifecycle from development to full production readiness.
• Enforce plan compliance and drive corrective actions across departments.
• Standardize Voyager-format SOPs into a unified docs system for onboarding and readiness.
• Drive Lean and Six Sigma implementations with measurable KPIs.
• Prepare technical reports for planning, budgeting, and reviews.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Safety, and Compliance across the product lifecycle.
