Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) in Counce, TN is seeking a Process Engineering Co-Op or Process Control Co-Op to help improve mill efficiency, quality and safety. The role includes data analysis, testing and support for process evaluations and control documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be majoring in Chemical or Paper Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0 and US permanent resident with a valid driver's license.
• Complete freshman year prior to co‑op/intern and be 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Support process optimization and mill efficiency initiatives.
• Collect and analyze process, production, and lab data.
• Monitor testing, safety docs, and control documentation.
• Assist with startup, maintenance, and calibration activities.
• Update drawings and specifications using software tools.
