Amcor is seeking a Plant Process Engineering Co-op in Terre Haute, IN, to provide technical support that improves manufacturing operations and processes. The role includes completing projects that address real issues, from equipment installation to waste reduction, on a site-based program.

The successful candidate will be actively pursuing an engineering degree (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Material Science) and demonstrate strong data analysis, communication, and time-management

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Material Science).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with manufacturing operations personnel.
• Solid computer skills including Word and Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and the ability to quickly learn software needed for job duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to improve and optimize manufacturing operations and processes.
• Complete multiple projects during the term, solving real manufacturing issues such as defect root cause analysis and waste reduction.
