Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking Plant Process Engineering Co-ops to support manufacturing operations across multiple Amcor sites in Wisconsin. Co-ops will tackle real-world projects, install capital equipment, identify root causes of defects, and drive cost-saving waste initiatives during the term.

Timeline options include May–December or January–August, with emphasis on strong communication, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage several projects concurrently.

Qualifications

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Material Science).
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have strong time management skills to handle multiple ongoing projects in addition to day-to-day process problems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to improve and optimize manufacturing operations and processes at Amcor manufacturing sites.
  • Complete multiple projects throughout the term, solving real issues in the manufacturing environment.
  • Past students have installed new capital equipment, identified root causes for defects, and created substantial cost savings through waste initiatives.

Job Description

Our Plant Process Engineering Co-ops will provide technical support to improve and optimize manufacturing operations and processes at one of several Amcor manufacturing sites. A successful co-op will complete multiple projects throughout their term, solving real issues in the manufacturing environment.   • Solid computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel, Outlook, Share Point, and the ability to quickly learn software needed to perform job specific duties.
