Job Summary:
The Process Engineer Co-op will support company manufacturing operations on process improvement, material flow, visual management, and other projects to improve capacity and productivity. This person will interact with production personnel on the manufacturing floor to discuss project specifications and product adjustments. The individual will be exposed to manufacturing, logistics and lean management systems and how they interact with the overall operation of the business.The position is intended to be a co-operative learning experience, alternating semesters of work with school.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Strongability to multi-task with assignments from operations management and a desire for a hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Preferred experience or interest in lean manufacturing, industrial engineering, and/or continuous improvement.
