Job summary

SSOE Group is seeking a Process Engineer to join our integrated design‑build team, supporting advanced technology, semiconductor, cleanroom, and mission‑critical facilities. You will contribute to design and execution of critical process systems, collaborating with senior engineers to deliver reliable engineering solutions in high‑performance environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–6 years of process engineering experience, preferably in design‑build or EPC.
• Experience in semiconductor/advanced high‑tech facilities.
• Foundational knowledge of ultrapure/high‑purity water systems, gas/chemical distribution, wastewater treatment, and piping systems.
• Familiarity with PFDs and P&IDs.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support design and engineering of process systems including fluid transfer and heat exchange.
• Contribute to UPW/HPW, specialty gas, chemical distribution, and wastewater projects.
• Perform flow, pressure drop, pump sizing, and basic heat transfer calculations.
• Assist in development of PFDs, P&IDs, and system layouts under senior engineers guidance.
• Participate in equipment selection and specification (pumps, filtration, heat exchangers).
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and controls teams for integrated design.
• Support field activities including construction coordination, walkthroughs, and commissioning.
• Assist with troubleshooting during design and installation phases.
• Ensure designs comply with codes, standards, and client requirements.
