Job summary

SSOE Group seeks a skilled Process Designer to join our integrated design‑build team, supporting the delivery of advanced technology, semiconductor, cleanroom, and mission‑critical facilities. This role is well‑suited for a designer who has developed a solid foundation in process system design and is ready to take on greater responsibility in complex, high‑performance environments.

In this position, you will contribute to the design and execution of critical process systems that support

Qualifications

• Proficiency with AutoCAD is required.
• Hands-on PIPE-FLO or similar hydraulic software for validation.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3 process piping design code.
• Ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams including PMs, engineers, and architects.
• Strong communication during design reviews and RFIs.

Responsibilities

• Produce technical project plans, specifications, drawings, P&IDs, and models.
• Lead development of P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and isometric piping drawings per ASME B31.3.
• Verify hydraulic performance with PIPE-FLO or similar tools.
• Ensure design concepts comply with CAD standards and QC.
• Collaborate with process engineers, structural, electrical, and mechanical teams.
• Coordinate among Electrical, Structural, Mechanical, and Architectural disciplines.
• Assist senior staff and stakeholders on complex features and problem solving.
• Perform field verifications and site assessments for design integration.
• Support PMs and engineers with scope, schedule, and cost management.
• Mentor junior designers on drafting standards and techniques.
