Job summary

MACOM in Lowell, MA is seeking a Process Engineer to advance microwave electronics manufacturing. You will implement assembly processes, create work instructions, and prototype builds for new products.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing, a BS or MS in EE, Physics, or Materials Science, and ability to train operators. Knowledge of chip-and-wire materials and wire bonding is preferred; ITAR compliance and RSU eligibility are noted.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in EE, Physics, or Materials Science with relevant internships.
• Hands-on capability with manufacturing prototypes and procedures.
• Experience in wire bonding, die attach, and chip‑and‑wire materials.

Responsibilities

• Create and update work instructions for assembly processes.
• Perform prototype builds for new products.
• Develop process flow diagrams and PFMEA/OCAP documentation.
• Support Lean/continuous improvement and risk assessments.
• Time studies on processes and equipment.
