Job summary

Analog Devices Federal LLC is hiring a Development Process Engineer to develop and optimize backend semiconductor manufacturing processes, focusing on seam sealing, laser/resistance sealing, and packaging operations. The role requires strong data analysis, tool qualification, and cross-functional collaboration in a high-volume environment.

Applicants should have a BS/MS in engineering or related fields, 5+ years of electronics assembly experience, and experience in a semiconductor cleanroom.

Qualifications

• US Citizen required; current clearance a plus.
• BS/MS in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, Physics, Material Science or related field.
• 5+ years in electronics assembly/manufacturing including seam sealing, reflow sealing, leak test, lead forming, SMT.
• Statistics coursework; experience in semiconductor cleanrooms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; SPC/DOE knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop, sustain, and optimize seam sealing and back-end assembly processes.
• Lead qualification of new tools and documentation for operators/technicians.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure on-time manufacturing readiness.
