Job summary

Pave Talent is looking for Process Engineers at levels I, II, or Senior to join teams at multiple U.S. sites. The role focuses on scaling a next‑gen nano‑copper material from pilot to full production, with production and process stabilization as initial priorities.

You'll troubleshoot batches, read P&IDs, and support scale-up, batch validation, and operator training while coordinating safety reviews. Senior staff may lead capital projects and mentor juniors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on batch chemical process experience in production or pilot-plant settings.
• Comfort around flammable solvents and corrosive chemicals in a process-safety environment.
• Fluency with Statistical Process Control using JMP or Minitab.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent continuous improvement training.
• Prior capital project or lab-to-commercial scale-up experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license for senior-level candidates.
• Background in fine or specialty chemicals, coatings, resins, or battery materials.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve Statistical Process Control for key products using JMP or Minitab.
• Troubleshoot batch chemistry issues and drive root cause analysis to closure on non-conforming material.
• Read and work from P&IDs and process flow diagrams; support equipment specification and startup.
• Support scale-up from pilot to full production, including batch validation and operator training.
• Coordinate Management of Change and process safety reviews (HAZOP, PSSR) with maintenance and production.
• At senior level, lead capital project scope, mentor junior engineers, and own SOPs.
