Job summary

Edwards Vacuum LLC is seeking a Process Engineer to support an assembly cell, focusing on process stability and automation with advanced error-proofing systems. The role involves robotics, sensors, and control systems to reduce cost and automate manufacturing steps.

You will improve process flows, work with maintenance and manufacturing teams, and ensure safe operations per Edwards Health and Safety policies. Strong Excel-based tooling and PLC familiarity are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Excel, creating macros and programming to support automation.
• Experience understanding PLC logic (e.g., Mitsubishi PLC).
• Able to interact with robotics and automation in manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of selected processes and support production without delay.
• Manage and optimize robotic processes in the painting cell.
• Ensure painting process quality and calibration procedures.

Process engineer has an important role to support assembly cell for keeping stable assembly quality and process automation with advanced error proofing system which includes advanced technologies such as robotics, sensors and control systems. The goal is to apply effective ways to save manufacturing cost and implement automatic process into assembly lines.

Main responsibilities

• • Take full charge of certain process and support technique for production without any delay, and control equipment, facilities, jigs and fixtures for supporting assembly cell.
  • Manage and understand robotic process (Industrical robot in paint shop(ex. Yaskaya robot)
  • Responsible for painting cell to ensure the process, good painting quality and calibration procedure
  • Be skillfull of Excel, Macro and Programing which understands PLC logic(ex. Mitsubishi PLC)
  • Improve working safety by eliminating process risk based on Edwards Health and Safety Policy.
  • Develope new process flow with digitalization and automation.
  • Problem Solving and Maintenance
  • Review and design manual process into automatic process.
  • Cooperate with manufacturing engineer, maintenance technician and team leaders when the problems are indentified
  • Create and control revision history of Edward Engineering documents such as SOP, 4M Change, Build sheet, TPM document.
