Job summary

J&T Business Consulting in Seymour, CT is seeking a Process Development & Manufacturing Engineer to develop, optimize, and document manufacturing processes for PCB and electro-mechanical assemblies. You will provide real-time troubleshooting to minimize downtime and improve productivity.

You will review blueprints and specifications, design fixtures, and participate in NPI and equipment validation projects to ensure manufacturability and quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
Strong skills in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
Experience with IPC-A-610 solder inspection training is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and document manufacturing processes and SOPs for PCB and electro-mechanical assemblies.
Provide real-time technical troubleshooting during manufacturing operations to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
Analyze PCB layout data and panelization to ensure design and process compliance.
Review blueprints, schematics, specifications, and diagrams for modifications and approval.
Design, specify, and/or fabricate fixtures and tooling to streamline assembly workflows.
Lead root cause analysis on assembly/component failures and implement corrective actions.
