J&T Business Consulting in Seymour, CT is seeking a Manufacturing Technical Engineering Manager to lead the EMS/PCBA engineering team. You will oversee technical engineering, documentation, and SMT programming, translating client data into floor-ready manufacturing instructions.

The role requires 5+ years in EMS, strong CAD/Gerber data experience, and proficiency with Infor ERP and Aegis MES. You’ll collaborate across operations, process engineering, QA, PM, and supply chain to ensure on-time

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline required.
Minimum 5+ years in electronics EMS/PCBA or related field with supervisory experience.
Strong understanding of BOMs, CAD/Gerber data, SMT programming, and data lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

Lead Technical Engineering, Document Control, and SMT Programming teams.
Ensure BOMs, CAD, Gerber, and routing data are validated and released on time.
Interface with Manufacturing Ops, Process Eng, QA, PM, Supply Chain to align data with build schedules.
Oversee ECOs and revision control across assemblies.
Provide on-floor engineering support during FAI and NPI activities.
Drive continuous improvement and automation in data workflows.
