Job summary

Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
Proven experience managing projects and implementing process improvements across departments.

Responsibilities

Provide daily technical support for the Paint Manufacturing plant under supervision of Engineering Manager and Plant Superintendent.
Troubleshoot processes/equipment and use SPC to improve batch quality and reduce costs.
Coordinate/lead efficiency initiatives within the department and realize measurable benefits.
Consult with vendors to specify equipment, materials, or parts and evaluate products against specs.
Analyze space requirements and workflow; design equipment and workspace layouts for maximum efficiency.
Move waste from generation point to the 90-day Storage Area and label containers per procedures.
