MATTR in Fairfield, Ohio is seeking a Process Engineer I to support continuous improvement and product process development at the facility. You will apply your process engineering expertise to enhance manufacturing performance, support production operations, and develop innovative solutions that drive efficiency, reduce costs, improve margins, and strengthen business competitiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience coordinating and managing projects.
• Proficiency with CAD software and engineering design tools.
• Experience with manufacturing systems and process improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques, including process mapping, root cause analysis, 8D, A3, 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, DOE, and capability studies.
• Experience working with quality management systems such as ISO and IATF, including control plans and PFMEAs.
• Manufacturing experience in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Production Operations and provide technical support for daily manufacturing activities.
• Collaborate with supervisors, operators, and maintenance personnel to ensure equipment and processes operate efficiently.
• Support tooling selection and validation activities.
• Apply troubleshooting techniques to resolve production challenges and improve performance.
• Develop and execute process improvement and development projects.
• Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce costs, improve margins, and enhance competitiveness.
• Support product engineering, development, and quality teams in new product launches.
• Maintain alignment with quality standards and customer requirements.
• Use data-driven analysis and CAD tools to improve processes.
