Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical equivalent.
• On-the-job training provided, but position requires a self-motivated individual.
• Familiarity with MS Office is required.
• 2+ years industrial experience preferred.
• Minitab or other statistical software experience preferred.
• Metals industry experience is a plus.
• Auditing background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide process support for EB, PAM, and VAR processes.
• Implement/monitor Statistical Process Control for critical melt processing parameters.
• Implement/monitor SPC for critical part and process parameters.
• Influence, gain commitment, and leverage best practices across the organization.
• Initiate or support new melt process or engineering technologies.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to minimize nonconforming product and optimize throughput.
• Support or lead continuous improvement initiatives and teams.
• Assist with customer complaints, audits, and corrective actions; investigate quality or process problems.
• Maintain process documents including procedures and forms.
• Participate in internal audit programs.
