MPI is seeking a Process Engineer for an established industrial manufacturer in Vermont to drive operational improvements across production, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will work on diverse engineering projects, solve complex manufacturing challenges, and help implement best-in-class processes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.

  • Ability to lead projects and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Hands-on approach with a passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and maximise output.
  • Lead investigations into production challenges and implement practical solutions that improve performance.

  • Support new product launches by ensuring manufacturing processes are capable, reliable, and scalable.
  • Develop manufacturing procedures, process controls, and technical documentation.

  • Participate in root cause analysis activities and drive corrective and preventative actions.
  • Collaborate with equipment suppliers and external partners on process and technology improvements.
  • Deliver training and technical guidance to production personnel.
  • Promote safe manufacturing practices and support compliance with company and regulatory standards.

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies.
  • Familiarity with quality tools such as SPC, PFMEA, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience working with CAD software or manufacturing equipment improvements.
  • Understanding of ISO-regulated manufacturing environments.
