Job summary

Advantage Technical in Leola, PA seeks a Process Engineer to drive continuous improvement in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This direct-hire role emphasizes manufacturing optimization, data-driven decision making, and problem solving to improve production performance and efficiency.

You will develop SOPs, lead CI initiatives, support capital projects and automation, and uphold safety and quality standards across operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of Process/Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement in high-volume settings.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
• Experience with PLC programming or automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement initiatives focused on reducing downtime, scrap, waste, and production variability.
• Analyze manufacturing data, including line performance, material usage, cycle times, and quality metrics.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and employee training materials.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, DOE, FMEA, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, automation initiatives, and new technology implementation.
• Optimize production processes, material flow, and work cell layouts to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, and leadership teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.
• Promote a strong safety culture and support regulatory compliance and workplace safety programs.
