Job summary

Henkel is hiring a Process Engineer in West Hazleton, PA to lead process improvement, problem solving, and data-driven optimization on the shop floor. You will define equipment standards and work with training to close operator capability gaps, spending most time on the production floor.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, 1–3 years in manufacturing, and Lean Six Sigma certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management or related field.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with Digital Manufacturing technologies deployment.
• Lean Six Sigma certifications.
• Self-driven person who can work independently.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize and eliminate process losses.
• Lead and build capability of Problem Solving (lead workshops).
• Define and improve equipment standards via problem solving.
• Coordinate with training to close capability gaps for Operators.
• Work with line management to prioritize improvement opportunities.
• Design, implement and maintain data collection/analysis systems.
• Monitor centerline, defects, standards and improvement plans.
• Become a technical expert for a designated process.
• Spend 80% on the floor solving problems to reduce stops.
