Pregis is seeking a process engineer to collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, and corporate engineering to deliver low-cost, quality products. The role leads training, identifies machine and process issues, and drives capital projects with payback analyses.

The position emphasizes reducing variability, driving DOE studies, and applying lean principals to cost reduction and process optimization across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred; Industrial Engineering background.
• 5+ years in process engineering; 3+ years in coating and converting; 10+ years of industrial engineering in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• Hands-on, tenacious personality with knowledge of hand/power tools and measurement devices.
• Must be able to climb ladders, lift 50 lbs, stand all day, and work in a noisy environment.
• Travel up to 15%, domestically and potentially globally.

Responsibilities

• Partner with plant production and maintenance staff to understand and support daily activities and new projects.
• Lead project implementations through technical expertise and influencing capability.
• Execute and reinforce improvements with strong change management skills.
